. . . in memory of shayne
Throughout his young life, Shayne was surrounded by friends and family, showcasing his natural ability to befriend and love others unconditionally. His kind, warm-hearted energy radiated beyond people too, which attracted friendly animals of all shapes and sizes. As he grew older, Shayne became enthralled by cars, trucks and other machines; he quickly took on a daredevil personality where he'd try anything once! Eager and energetic, Shayne throttled his way through school. Shayne would go on to graduate from Holly High School in the Spring of 2014. Shortly after graduation, Shayne began attending trade school at the Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in Orlando, Florida. There, he would study to become a future auto mechanic.
On December 22nd, 2014, we lost our beloved son Shayne in a terrible motorcycle accident.
After purchasing the motel and its cabins, we decided to rename the business... in memory of our wonderful and loving son, Shayne. With this business, we are deeply honored that Shayne's spirit lives at the heart of our lives, much like our devotion to our guests.
At the end of the day, we want you to feel unapologetically welcome, safe, comfortable, and relaxed. We strive to be the best, most accommodating hosts in Mio. Our hope is that you enjoy your stay here with us and return in the future!
- Sincerely, owners Lance and Karrie Coleman.
